Everyone, regardless of whether they are affiliated with Harvard and whether they have had previous theatrical experience, is welcome to join the HRDC! The HRDC holds auditions at Common Casting in September and February, but anyone interested in theater can subscribe to the HRDC email list, which announces everything from performances and auditions to tech positions in a weekly newsletter. Between the various opportunities to work with on the Mainstage, in the Ex, at the ART, and across all spaces on campus, you are sure to find a way to get involved.

If you're interested in technical theater or theater production, after you subscribe to the HRDC email list , subscribe to the unmoderated Tech Email list, humorously called "overworkedtechies". To subscribe, click the link, enter your email address, enter "overworkedtechies" into the "Find" box, and check the box next to the list. If you're a techie or weren't offered a part this semester, take a look at some of the Technical Theater Opportunities on campus right now. Then email the HRDC Tech Liaison and tell him/her you're interested in joining tech, and he/she will help find you positions on shows and welcome you into the tech community!

Elections for the HRDC Board are held annually in November; if you are considering running for the Board, contact the board member who holds a position you might be interested in to hear more being on the Board. Note that you may run for multiple positions if you are not elected at first, so contact all the board members whose job you might wish to have.
